Paris Saint-Germain have made a surprise £6million bid for Tottenham midfielder Benjamin Stambouli.
The 24-year-old has been talking to Watford after they agreed a £4m fee with Tottenham two weeks ago.
Stambouli rejected an approach from hometown club Marseille because he wanted to continue in the Barclays Premier League.

The former France U21 international, who joined Spurs from Montpellier for £4m last summer, has been discussing personal terms with Watford ahead of the proposed move.
PSG's arrival, however, will no doubt turn his head due to their reputation as European heavyweights with Champions League football on offer.
Etienne Capoue has already moved from Tottenham to Vicarage Road for £6m and has since been joined by Valon Behrami from Hamburg.
